. 昨年末ごろに、おしぼりを新調。 「暖簾」の形にしてみました。 昔は鮨を食べた後、暖簾で指先を拭いて出ていく文化があり、暖簾が汚れているほど繁盛している証だと言われていたそうですよ。 今暖簾で拭かれていかれたら困っちゃいますが。笑 昔の江戸っ子の粋な風習を味わってもらいたいと取り入れてみました。 お客さんに満遍なく違うネタのものが行き届くように、女将さんが毎日選別して準備してくれているのは、ここだけの話です(笑) 皆様は何の鮨ネタに当たりましたか？ . At the end of last year, we introduced new oshibori towels— this time, in the shape of a noren (traditional shop curtain). Back in the day, there was a custom where customers would wipe their fingers on the noren after eating sushi. It was said that the more stained the noren was, the more prosperous the shop. Of course, if someone did that now, I’d be in trouble! 😂 But we wanted to share a bit of that old Edo-style charm, so we brought this idea to life. Here’s a little secret: Our okami-san carefully selects and prepares different sushi-themed towel patterns each day, so everyone gets something unique!
