In Wakayama Prefecture, young flying fish are also called “Anko,” in Toyama Prefecture, “Tombi,” and in Chiba Prefecture and other metropolitan areas, “Flying Fish.” By the way, common flying fish can glide 100m to 300m when flying through the air.
