Conveyor belt sushi ranking | Compare recommended items and prices from 5 major companies

We toured around the conveyor belt sushi chain restaurants and ranked them in order of our family’s favorites.

My favorite toppings are sushiro and fish, but they are a little more expensive than others, and the delicious toppings are different.

Kura Sushi has a high quality 100 yen menu, Hama Sushi has a wide selection of side dishes, and Kappa Sushi has an all-you-can-eat option.

Each company has different characteristics, so please use this as a reference when choosing conveyor belt sushi.

TOC

1st place 「Sushiro」

Sushiro’s toppings are generally good, especially the high-end toppings priced over 150 yen.

The tuna and campaign menus are outstanding, even considering the price.

The dessert was also by far.

Orders are delivered very quickly, and this is the store that my family is most satisfied with overall.

2nd place 「uobei」

The sushi fish bowl that does not rotate on the high-speed 3-tier lane is also quite good.

The tuna and desserts are a little weak, and my family’s preference is a close second for the sushiro.

There are some ramen and 100 yen plates that are even more delicious than sushiro.

The inside of the store is bright and stylish.

3rd place 「Kura zushi」

Kura Sushi has a full 100 yen menu.

The fact that you can be satisfied with just a 100 yen menu is great for your wallet.

There is a wide variety of desserts and the toppings are good, but the delivery of the ordered items was sometimes slow.

No. 4 「Hama zushi」

Hamazushi has a wide variety of side menus, including noodles and fried foods.

Seasonings such as sushi are delicious even for elderly people, and three generations of parents and children use it when eating out.

The variety of desserts is small, and the side menus seem to take a little time to be served.

No. 5 「Kappa zushi」

At Kappa Sushi, you can enjoy the all-you-can-eat option available only on weekdays.

Regular course prices are 1,680 yen for men, 1,580 yen for women, and 780 yen for elementary school students.

I had the impression that the content was a little lower than other companies.

Other fine points

Beer

Photo of 3 draft beers

Kappa Sushi and Hama Sushi have bottled beer, so you can drink it at a reasonable price.

Since draft beer at Kura Sushi is self-serve, I felt it would be easier if you were traveling with children to have it brought to your table.

Shari, wasabi, soy sauce, etc.

I like the sushi at Uobei and Hama Sushi, and my kids like the sushi at Sushiro.

Kura Sushi has fresh wasabi on the table.

The fish tray is convenient because there are small plates and wasabi on the table. Gari is also delicious.

For Hama Sushi, you can choose from four types of soy sauce.

Kura Sushi and uobei where you can play games

Kura Sushi has a gacha-gacha dish that can be made with 5 plates. You can also play the game by ordering Uobei products. Families with small children can have a fun meal here.

Pepper-kun welcomes you at Hamazushi

Pepper-kun will be in charge of reception and seating information at Hamazushi.

Although it is popular with children, I sometimes see older people who are confused about how to use it.

It’s an easy operation once you get used to it, but you need to be careful at first.

About the reservation method

Sushiro has a “I’m going now” option, and even if you’re late, you’ll be called to about the third class.

If you use the Uobeimo app, you can make reservations for 2 patterns.

You can make reservations at Kura Sushi based on available times.

Kappa sushi is now available for reservation.

*This is information about our area. It may vary depending on the store.

Differences in ordering methods

When you order Sushiro, it arrives quickly, and there is a high order limit so you don’t have to worry about getting stressed.

Uobei has three lanes, so even if you order a large quantity, it will arrive all at once.

Kura Sushi has a sushi cap called “Senso-kun,” so you can rest assured that you can use the lane plates.

Hama Sushi is a type of restaurant where you order items through a lane, but the serving time varies depending on the menu. It is best to order some menu items in advance.

summary

All of the shops have a high level of satisfaction, but each has different characteristics.
